Hello,  Owen here.  This is a blog about the main countries I want to visit during my families trip.

Owen,
I applaud your choices! I am currently studying Greek & Roman History and it is sooooo cool! May I recommend a couple of dvds to you? Cody & I discovered these dvds from the History Channel at our local Burbank Library. They are called Ancient Battles and they use video game technology to re-enact famous battles from history, especially the Greeks and Romans. You may find some sites of famous battles you want to visit.

Owen, check out Cyprus in Greece. It is a small island divided between Turkey and Greece. It's full of ancient ruins, good food and wonderful culture. The Goddess Aphrodite was born there! The beaches are great, too. It's a destination spot for European tourists who are "in the know."

You can get there by overnight ferry boat. And Egypt is just a short distance away, also by ferry.

I have a friend who can look into places for your family to rent if you decide to go there.

You are going to have a great time on this trip! It's so exciting.
